Peer-Review Evaluation

Research submitted for publication in Derna University Journal of Medical Sciences is subjected to scientific and objective arbitration by two reviewers with a minimum of the same exact specialization in order to ensure the quality of the article. (More) Reviewers are not informed of the name of the researcher(s). After receiving the notes, the researcher is informed of the reviewer's notes and asked to correct them and return them for publication after the alteration.

Editors Responsibilities
Editors at DUJMS must ensure a peer-review of the submitted articles. All the information of submitted manuscripts must be checked and kept as confidential before publication. Editors must avoid any potential conflict of interests between the author and reviewers.

Reviewers Responsibilities
Reviewers who evaluate the submitted manuscripts must keep all the information related to submitted manuscripts as confidential. All the manuscript opinions must be objectively and clearly evaluated by reviewers using(Reviewer’s Form PDF)

Article Processing Charges (APC)
Our goal in Derna University Journal of Medical Sciences is to promise that the articles are published according to advance the level of scientific research in cooperation with the corresponding specialized scientific institutions. DUJMS issues the open access articles, which does not include any publishing fees, and the article will be available immediately free of charge. The journal provides many services include article processing, professional production and the electronic and other formats. There are no fees for rejected articles, no submission fees, or fees based on article length, numbers, or supplementary data. All conferences supervised by Derna University or supervised by Derna University Journal of Medical Sciences are published for free.
